The company’s Nexus line is the top-selling digital camera brand, with about a third of the market.
Canon’s entry-level cameras are more popular among tech-savvy consumers, but the company is also known for its entry- and premium-level digital cameras, like the S1 and S2, which have sold well for years.

Canon isn’t alone in its struggle to keep pace with smartphone camera sales, but its competitors are also struggling.
Nikon and Sony have also been hit hard by smartphone camera competition, as has Apple.

Sony’s flagship camera, a compact full-size DSLR, is expected to go on sale later this year.
The EOS 5D mark II is the most expensive camera in Canon’s camera lineup right now.
